How does it work?

Using your copy of Artlook for Artists the editions are set up together with all information and associated images. Each individual item can be flagged to indicate whether or not it is to be available on your password-protected pages on the Artlook Dealer Network web site.

Clicking on the Upload button sends the information for each edition to the web site. Each edition is listed, together with a thumbnail image, the size of the edition and the quantity remaining.

Each of your dealers or resellers is issued with a unique login name and password. When they visit the site this enables them to see which editions are available and, more importantly, precisely which items from within the edition are currently available.

Your dealer follows the simple steps to select an edition and then selects either the quantity of items they require or, if they prefer, specific numbered items from within the edition. Once the transaction is completed they click the Submit button which sends a confirmation email to them and an order request to you. At this point the web site automatically adjusts the availabilities to reflect the order.

Based on the information in the email you receive you then use the Artlook sales routine to sell the item or items to the relevant dealer and generate the invoice ready for despatch. Clicking the Update button in Artlook permanently adjusts the availabilities on the web site to reflect the sale.

As the artist or publisher you have complete control over what is displayed on the site and it takes seconds to add new editions or make adjustments to existing ones. At all times access to your list of available editions is restricted only to those dealers or resellers to whom you have issued a login name and password.
