Technical requirements

Artlook can be run as a stand alone or fully networked system and is also quite at home on a laptop. Artlook is a Windows application and requires one of the following versions of Windows: NT, 2000, XP, Vista or Windows 7. For Windows 7 both 32 bit and 64 bit versions are fully supported - in all other cases only 32 bit versions are supported.

A copy of Microsoft Word is a useful addition but not essential since Artlook contains its own word processor. No other databases or third party tools are required to run Artlook.

At present Artlook will not run on Macintoshes unless they are running PC emulation software such as Virtual PC or Parallels. These are entirely effective systems (particularly with the latest generation of Intel based Macs) but we would strongly recommend a trial installation before committing.
